BRIEF:

While the program’s complex technical requirements demanded particular attention, the design is above all an attempt to create a sense of place that responds to the special requirements, needs of the clients and context. The designed plastic research facility is located in Jubail Industrial City, KSA. This has been an attempt to define a modern office, industrial laboratories and warehouse facilities that fits well the nature of the place (i.e. Jubail Industrial City). Being a state-of-the-art plant, it involved Saudi Arabia’s investments compared with American facilities and technologies.
