BRIEF:

The project is located in alhassa- Juwatha Park, the main purpose of this iconic building is to encourage kids to read at young age and create an fun and welcoming environment for kids to learn. The building is facilitated to welcome families and kids from age of 8 months to elderly.

The concept was to create an iconic building form that respects the old traditional architecture of alhassa but keeps up with the new generation of architecture and demographics.

    

This project was designed to be an iconic representation of the relationship between past and new generations. As a representation to it soul program as a kids library, the southern wall became a monumental wall having the word “iqraa’” the verb read engraved in it to celebrate the important of reading to get knowledge.
